We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, so we recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date. Summer is our busiest season and fills up quickly. Winter months have more availability. Contact us early to check availability, especially for weekend dates and peak seasons.

For 20 participants, plan for roughly 80 by 40 feet, about the size of a tennis court. NerfPalooza can set up at backyards, parks, cul-de-sacs, school fields, church parking lots, or any safe open area.

Yes. All equipment meets or exceeds industry safety standards, coaches have 5+ years of experience, and every event includes a safety briefing plus full liability insurance coverage.

Rescheduling and Weather Policy

Should you need to reschedule your event for any reason, you must inform us at least 48 hours beforehand. Your deposit will then be valid for one month from your original event date. You must schedule a date and time within the one month. During this period, we will do our best to accommodate your event in our schedule. If you do not reschedule within this one-month timeframe, or if we are unable to find a suitable date within that period, you may forfeit your deposit. What if you want to continue the event in the rain?

You can continue your Nerfpalooza event in the rain. However, please note that an equipment cleaning fee of $300 will apply if the event proceeds in wet conditions. This ensures that all our equipment is properly cleaned and maintained for future use. We are dedicated to providing a fun and fair play experience, regardless of the weather, while also preserving the quality of our equipment.

What are the safety requirements for hosting a Nerfpalooza event?

At Nerfpalooza, the safety and enjoyment of our participants are our top priorities. To ensure the well-being of our players and the longevity of our equipment, we have specific requirements for the event environment. We cannot perform events in locations that pose safety risks, including in the rain, on loose dirt, on slippery grounding, on muddy grass, or in dog parks. These conditions can lead to accidents, equipment damage, and an overall poor experience for all participants. We recommend pre-checking your location for the best Nerfpalooza experience.

Does Nerfpalooza take care of securing permits for events?

Answer

Nerfpalooza is all about unleashing fun and embracing fair play, but when it comes to securing permits for your event, it's something we can't do for you. By law, we are not allowed to secure permits under someone else's name, so this important step must be completed by the host themselves. We recommend checking with your local authorities to understand the specific requirements for your event venue. Remember, getting the right permits ensures your event runs smoothly and legally.

When is payment due for my Nerfpalooza event?

At Nerfpalooza, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience is our top priority. To facilitate this, payment must be completed and collected before the start of your event. We offer flexibility by accepting payments either the day before to a week beforehand or the day of the event. Please note that events will not commence until payment is secured. This policy helps us maintain our standards of service and guarantees that all arrangements are in place for an unforgettable experience.

Deposits and Reservations Policy

All deposits are final and non-refundable after hours. It's important to understand that merely discussing your event or receiving a quote does not secure your booking; a deposit and a confirmation email are essential. If you place a deposit but do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, contact us immediately to verify your booking. Our reservations are managed through a real-time availability calendar on our website, and time slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not hold slots without a deposit, so act promptly to secure your desired time.

Changes to Reservations

All changes to existing reservations must be communicated in writing via email to Nerfpalooza. We do not accept changes made through text, phone, or in person, and we will not be responsible for those requests. To avoid any issues, please confirm any changes you want to make to your event after a reservation has been made.

Question 23

Additional Fees, Players, and Time

Answer

Locations that are more than 25 miles in one direction from our starting location will incur a mileage fee of $1 per mile, applied to your total event. Online bookings are subject to a 6% fee, which is outside our control and does not contribute to your event total or deposit. Each package includes a specified number of players, and additional players can be added at $20 each, or $40 for archery tag. Payment for the full amount including any additional charges, is required at the start of the event. Additional time may be added on at a rate to be determined by us should scheduling allow.

Definition of Players/Participants

Answer

Any individual—of any age—who handles NerfPalooza equipment or participates in our activities is considered a "participant" or "player" and must follow all NerfPalooza safety rules and procedures. NerfPalooza takes great pride in our structured safety protocols and the clear instructions we provide to every player before gameplay begins. NerfPalooza is not responsible for any participant's failure to follow directions, any injuries resulting from negligence or accidental behavior, or any damage caused to the property or venue hosting the event.

Photos and Videos

NerfPalooza reserves the right to capture photos and videos during all events and to use this content on our website and social media platforms, unless the client provides written notice requesting otherwise.

Question 26

Waivers and Safety Requirements

Answer

All participants in your event who wish to play or engage in any NerfPalooza activities must sign the required liability waiver. Safety equipment must be worn at all times whenever a player is holding one of our blasters—whether or not it is loaded or powered on—or whenever a game or activity is underway. Additionally, anyone under the age of 18 who is within six (6) feet of the battlefield during active play must wear safety gear or relocate outside the area to prevent potential injuries. NerfPalooza welcomes participants of all ages, from 5 and above! All players under the age of 18 are required to wear NerfPalooza-issued protective gear in order to participate.

Liability

By placing a deposit and hiring Nerfpalooza to provide services at your event, you acknowledge and agree that Nerfpalooza Events, Nerf Battle Palooza, and all of their agents, officers, employees, and volunteers shall not be held liable or responsible for any injuries, property damage, or any other losses or damages—monetary or otherwise—incurred by any person or property at your event. You further agree that you will not pursue, initiate, or support any form of litigation against Nerfpalooza Events, Nerf Battle Palooza, or any of their representatives for any reason. If any guest, participant, or player intentionally or accidentally damages our equipment, you, as the event host, assume full financial responsibility for the replacement cost of the damaged item. Additional penalty fees may apply depending on the specific item and the time required to replace it.

Question 28

Payments and Penalties

Answer

By booking with NerfPalooza, you authorize the card on file to be charged for the remaining balance of your event on the day the event takes place. If you prefer to pay in cash or use a different card than the one used for your deposit, please notify us in advance and we will gladly accommodate your request. If the card on file declines or does not authorize the remaining balance, we will make reasonable attempts to contact you within 48 hours to complete the payment. If we are unable to reach you, or if the final payment is not received within three (3) days following your event, a penalty fee of $25 per day will be applied until the balance is paid in full. Failure to complete payment for services rendered may result in legal action. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, including all associated penalties and the potential for legal proceedings.
